This was pretty interesting, the first one I drew was very heavy and dark so it surprisingly conducted almost 100% of the current no matter where I put the alligator clips, so the next one I did (in the picture) was much lighter, and after a little fine tuning I got it to read from about 200 - 1023 on the serial monitor depending on where I placed the leads. It should be noted however that this does not progress as smoothly as a standard potentiometer - I would move the leads 2 centimeters and have it only change 50 points, then move a half a centimeter for it to change 400. Despite this though, it did work better than expected, and would be a fairly reasonable substitute for a standard potentiometer in most simple circuits.
